expense management and supplier invoice processing software, today announced the appointment of Joseph Essas, chief technology officer of OpenTable, to its board of directors. With his extensive experience in developing and bringing innovative technology products to market, Essas will contribute to Chrome River’s continued growth and strategic direction.

Previously, he was chief technology officer and vice president of engineering and operations for eHarmony and also vice president of engineering at Yahoo!. He is currently a venture partner at FirstMark Capital in New York.
