Stearns County’s expense management journey began with a paper-based system that required extensive manual input. After upgrading to a SharePoint-based system, they started to see the benefits of basic automation. Yet the solution was limited in reporting, lacked mobile capabilities, and required manual audit. The AP team spent approximately 40 hours per week manually reviewing expense reports.
